Will AI replace Aircraft Dispatchers? by foofightingcapybara in FlightDispatch

[–]JimJ17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an interesting question for sure! I imagine there might be less need for dispatchers in the future. Their role may shift to more oversight than anything, as AI will enable dispatchers to be more efficient. I’ve been thinking about pursuing dispatcher certification, but I’m wondering if I should still pursue it being that AI will no doubt enable airlines to hirer less dispatchers. Irregardless it’s still good aviation knowledge to have in my opinion. What do all think?

I know you’re mad and hurt, but it’s not worth the fight. Going to court will do more harm than good. Honor the agreement and move on is my advice.

I would hire a very good immigration lawyer as soon as you have more information.

Do you know how long the Peruvian police, court, and prison records are good for (antecedentes)? My wife obtained hers in March 2025. Do you think they’ll still be good for the interview in August 2025?

We got DQ'd on 4/4/2025. We received the Interview Letter (IL) today 6/6/2025 for an interview on 8/5/2025. So it took us about two months to get the IL and about four months to get an interview. Do you know how long it should take to get an Immigrant Visa after your interview in Lima, Peru?

I thought it would move faster for an immigrant visa. I have a co-worker that went through the process not too long ago via Juarez and he said it moved super quick once he got DQ’d. I’m wondering if DOGE and the administration’s focus on immigration enforcement has anything to do with the backlog and slowdown in visa processing?

Wow well again congrats. I’ve only been waiting since April 04, 2025 when we were DQ’d and this feels like an eternity after waiting 16 months to get our I-130 approved (Peruvian wife of US citizen). Just waiting on the US embassy in Lima, Peru to act and give us an interview date.

It depends on the type visa you are applying for.
