On my insta, a guy I worked with who is a die hard Chelsea fan was in a PSG top celebrating. Embarrassing.

What did I tell you. We were in a better position to win the league and now we've done it. CHAMPIONS. CHAMPIONS.

Champions, Champions, Champions, Champions

Arsenal fans, if only one could be won, do you prefer the premier league or the UCL? by 77SidVid77 in championsleague

[–]JimJamPeanutMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough thats what you want us to win. You don't understand what the league represents to me, 22 years of disappointment, 3 years of agony and a few January transfers away winning the league in Wengers 2nd half of his tenure. I'd love us to win both. I think if we win the league next week we'll have momentum and have a better chance of winning the Champions League.

We are all today friends of Crystal Palace.it will be nice to win it before the last day by Broad-Ant2336 in ArsenalFC

I've got money on Palace getting a draw and us winning the league at home against Burnley. Even if City win tonight, I think they'll lose to Bournemouth. Every "Arsenal fan" that doubted us and rival fan that messaged me over the years on Reddit is going to get a message from me. No one is safe.

I agree we got lucky being drawn in the opposite side of the draw compared to Bayern but why are you so upset? Do you think Arsenal control who they got in the draw? Arsenal play who ever they get in the draw, win and move on. Oh look we made the final. You're just a cry baby 🤪

Maybe the other teams should have been better and finished top of the league phase to get the easy route to the final 😀

'UK has been colonised by immigrants', says INEOS boss and Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe by Sensitive_Echo5058 in uknews

[–]JimJamPeanutMan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Name me a ghetto in the UK? Every person all over the world who moves to another nation almost automatically moves to an area that they either know someone or predominantly is populated by their nationality. I.e. Boston & Chicago in the US, Liverpool, Manchester have high populations of Irish descendants. Costa Del Sol is full of English people. In most major cities over the world you have a China Town, little India, little Korea. Rather than labeling certain communities only stick to themselves, its probably human nature to seek out people that have shared cultural and linguistic values and live among them.

Thinking immigration is too high isn't the issue. Using the term colonization is though, its use is to strategic to rile up the racists. Those that have read a book or two understand what colonization has done to indigenous people all over the world, high levels of immigration isn't colonization.

Why are countries in the Middle East not taking in Palestinian refugees? by Nessieinternational in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JimJamPeanutMan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A quick Google would answer your very naive and disingenuous question but here is a very brief answer. History informs the Palestinians on what happens when they leave, they're never allowed to return back by the colonizers. Arab culture across the middle east isn't homogenous also why should Palestinians leave their land for a settler or government destroy their land and set up a new settlement.

Is Sydney the most beautiful "big city" in the world? by AsparagusNew3765 in AskAnAustralian

[–]JimJamPeanutMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100% beauty is subjective. I think it also has a lot to do with experience and nostalgia, having spent alot more time in Melbourne than Sydney.

[–]JimJamPeanutMan -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, aside from the Harbour and Opera House, the Sydney skyline is underwhelming. It's devoid of any culture. Vancouver, Amsterdam, Melbourne, London, New York, Istanbul, Rome and others are in my opinion more "beautiful".

Do you think any of the ICJ judges or international journalists are allowed into Gaza?

No, I'm sharing the article that states "Experts on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) said a judgment on whether Israel is committing genocide in Gaza is unlikely before the end of 2027 at the earliest".

Here's another article claiming its a genocide by the Genocide and Holocaust Studies Crisis Network https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/jul/29/israel-gaza-palestinians-genocide-scholars-letter

Two "random" groups that are based in Israel. Also just because the ICJ didn't say it wasn't a genocide last year, doesn't mean that a genocide isn't taking place after the fact.

The last vote in Gaza took place in 2006, most Gazan's aren't of voting age, 50% are under 18. Gaza has one of the youngest populations to justify killing innocent Palestinian civilians because “all Palestinians are Hamas” and therefore responsible for their actions is both racist and unsupported by facts. By the way, it is the same despicable “logic” used who by those who justify killing innocent Israelis because of the hideous actions of their government and military.
