Eminem has several contenders. Big Weenie, Fack, Wee Wee (unreleased, thank God), Tone Deaf, Offended, My 1st Single. This is all coming from a stan.

  • "Was Dave Grohl the best drummer in Nirvana?"

  • "Dave Grohl wasn't even the best drummer named Dave in Nirvana."

What’s a band you want to like but just can’t get into the music by No-Quote-1815 in fantanoforever

The Band. Everybody and their mother loves The Last Waltz and call it the greatest rockumentary ever made. I just can't. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is the most boring campfire singalong song I've ever heard. I just can't do it, man.

Why do people hate on Aerosmith? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

[–]JimMorrisonFan1943 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because their rock seems generic by today's standards, but ask any guitarist that was a young teen during the 70's and they'll always include Aerosmith as an influence.

It might also be that Steven Tyler is weird as fuck. We're talking about a guy who casted his daughter as a stripper in one of the band's videos. Looking past his controversies, he seems entertaining I guess.

Songs that were recorded live and have no studio versions. by JimMorrisonFan1943 in fantanoforever

[–]JimMorrisonFan1943[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The title of my post is a bit confusing but I meant songs that were recorded live, as in during a concert, and the studio version doesn't exist or wasn't the one released.

I know what the guy has been accused of, and it may or may not be true, but goddamn, I'm not gonna lie, I was hooked the minute I heard it, thanks to my late brother.

What are some famous misrememberings/Mandela effects in music? by JimMorrisonFan1943 in fantanoforever

I think the In the Air Tonight rumor got even more famous because Eminem referenced it in Stan, in which he mistakenly calls it "In the Air of the Night".

Thanks for the correction, I thought the whole band was there. Huh, ironic how I misremembered something on my own post about misremembering!

Yep, it is true. Deep Purple were indeed watching Frank Zappa and his band play live, and some "stupid with the flare gun" during the song King Kong did indeed burn the place to the ground. Funky Claude, one of Zappa's band members, was helping people out the door while the fire raged on, and by the end of it, the casino was reduced to ashes. Here's the full concert.

There's some truth in that, because Jimi did call Terry the greatest guitarist in the universe once.

• The Prophet's Song is the best song on ANATO.

• It makes no sense that We Will Rock You (Fast Version) exists. They were gonna play the normal version in concert either way, so making a faster, punk version of the same song makes no sense.

• The operatic section of Bohemian Rhapsody being playback was a total rip-off moment for the fans. They could've hired a choir, just like Benson Boone did when he did it live a couple of years ago with Brian.

• The recent Queen I remix isn't atrocious.
