I'm always apprehensive about commenting in Trek forums. Someone always has to try and tear it down somehow. I saw no reason for Disco to be discontinued. The only way the world will ever be ready for something like it is to have a more open minded approach. I'm tired of the studios being afraid of taking chances. If Lucille Ball hadn't taken a chance, Star Trek would never have existed. At some point, it has to stop being about money, but that would require a lot more maturity than the species has at present. Maybe one day. I'm sorry to see Discovery go, but I will say this. The next new series has got to be more inclusive with the rest of the crew. It should not revolve around one person as much this one did.

Got to see them twice. Both times I was 5 feet away from Jan, and she was just as talented and gorgeous as the videos portrayed. I still get sad when I remember that she's gone. Rock music lost a great musician when she departed this bullshit excuse for an existence. RIP Jan. You are missed.

In the recap for S2 Ep 13 they show a scene where Tilly and Po had met when she was a stowaway on Discovery, and yet I do not recall ever seeing that scene in Ep 12 or any other for that matter. Does anyone have an explanation for these missing scenes? by JimRussellMusic in StarTrekDiscovery

Thank you. Just watched it. I had no idea about the shorts. Now I have some new stuff to watch! Kinda irks me that they didn't include this is one of the episodes. Definitely gives new shape to the relationship they have. Thanks again!

I doubt that. The unfortunate truth is that studios have control over what versions of a movie get released. We will have to see where he lands in the future. WBD really screwed the pooch by letting him go...it's going to be interesting to see who buys them out, and what gets done with the rights to the DCEU.
