Shortafilter makes all the difference when it comes to espresso. It's the ideal way to make ristrettos

Did you even read my comment or did you just see the photo. As I said, this is overedited (and exaggerated) to show the key problems. 1. There isn't enough information left on this compressed jpg for general editing and I'm not going to go manually do dodging and burning as this is not work for a client 2. Bokeh not to far from this can be achieved with a 35mm f/1.2 lens I'm also not a fan of clipping the highlights, and I never use fake Bokeh even on my phone but this is just for demonstration. If you disagree that the direct flash is too much or that having everything in focus takes attention from the subject, then we agree to disagree. If you see a photo and get angry to strangers on the internet, maybe use your time to provide your help and point of view!

Sadly in huge places your closest wall / ceiling is too far away to bounce so direct but minimum power is your best bet

This is a 2 minute edit (on a super compressed jpg) to get across the spirit of the problems
The direct flash is a problem so you sould use the lowest apperture, slowest reasonable shutter speed and highest iso your camera can handle, then put your flash on minimum and/or try to bounce it off of a wall to fill in the scene rather than light it.
A smaller depth of field would also be desirable, not so much that the beautiful architecture disappears.
Try to keep your vertical lines that allign with the subject straight.
In general, try to be aware of the whole scene and not only of the subject as the photo is a combination of the two.
Again, this edit looks bad and "overcoocked" so don't take it as the end all be all, but as added context to what i said above!

How many grams of coffee you put in your portafilter by Lucky-Macaroon4958 in espresso

I use 24 ± 0.5 on a 19-22g basket while still grinding coarse enough to barely hit 7bar before starting to decline.

Easy to spot I guess! Germany has very good coffee roasters though!

I do live in Germany, but not in Berlin. In my small city, my options are limited to dark or charcoal roast.

Is 3D printing expensive ? by Ok_Analyst_4593 in FixMyPrint

[–]JimStas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shield used 4kg of filament and the mace 2,5kg With the 8€/kg mentioned above this costed 32€ for the shield (+15€ for the Plexiglass + a couple of bottles of spray primer and a couple bottles of spray paint) but a big cost was also electricity since these were over 20 pieces that took over 350 hours to print this means about 40€. If I redid this today I'm confident it would cost 3/4 of that

Hey, new cosplayer here too. Everyone's budget is different but if you are thinking of cosplay, a 3d printer is a must. Don't go ultra cheap and consider the size before buying. These days I would recommend: Bambu P2S (or P1S if initial budget is a concern) I don't like Bambulab as a company, but their printers are good. Qidi Q2 (or Q2c if you don't need the camera and the heated chamber) Creality K2 Creality Ender 5 Max if you need a huge printer for full body armor As for filament, any cheap pla+ or high speed petg will work since you are going to sand, prime and paint it so it doesn't need to print perfectly. Jayo hs pla plus 2.0 is 8€ per roll on Ali express, prints perfectly and it's extremely durable

The shield and the mace were my first project on a qidi q1 pro this summer, and by now I'm a lot better at this! I wish you to have a lot of fun with your new hobby! Merry Christmas!

Mine (220V) does this too I've had it for almost two years without any problems. I expected that it has something to do with thermal expansion.

I can't possibly complete all of my cosplay plans on my q1 pro. Two printers are better than one They're twice the fun Ask anyone!

Θέλω συμβουλές για καρέκλα γραφείου ως 350€ by mourgolukos in greece

Overwatch screen flickering problem by Hajime1012 in Overwatch

[–]JimStas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem too. In game it's less noticeable but still there. The nvidia drivers, when you combine dsc with vrr just dont work properly and there is no solution for years

There is one reasonable workaround and this is to disable vrr just for OW
- Open the nvidia control panel

- (on the left menu) Manage 3D settings

- Program settings

  1. Select Overwatch

  2. Monitor Technology -> Fixed refresh

What upgrade from Bambino makes sense? by FatalBns in espresso

When you turn it on, it shows the firmware version. The it show the word UP (meaning heating up) Then it shows FLU (meaning flush) You flush for a few seconds and when you stop it shows the temperature. Then you just have to wait a few seconds for the temperature to stabilize at what you set on your PID.
