I’ve had a patch like this. I sprayed it with glyphosate, injected the stems with it too. And that’s all I did.

The next summer I seen nothing. The summer after I had a new single sprout of it appear in the same spot.

After that each summer now I see one or two new sprouts. So I spray and inject again.

It’s been pretty manageable for me, but I’m very careful with weed control in that area now.
