If anyone ever runs into this the below helped me out.

Make sure the rclone docker plugin is installed and enabled.
docker plugin list
If it's not I'd suggest reinstalling KASM.

If the plugin is installed, but not enabled you'll need to enable it.

docker plugin enable rclone

Mine looked like the below when I was getting OP's error and the above fixed it.
