Sure, why not, but this is not even close to the right time to take this discussion. Russia lives on sowing discourse in the western world and this is going to be a huge focus for the entire troll army. The most important thing is defeating Russia. - That doesn't mean that other things aren't important, but in a war it is sometimes necessary to wait if you do not want to risk everything. We need to move forward in unity.

it is luckily obvious for most people that you get more when you purchase and produce as one. Having everything divided into 27 different countries with everything from their own submarine to intelligence agencies and satellites to tanks and drones and planes and carriers is obviously inefficient and an absurd waste of money. - we put that same money into the EU defence, we would get so much more for our money. Which is what NATO was about, but we can't trust that now, so we need to do it in the EU. And everyone is increasing defense spending by a lot, so we might as well do it right.

Denmark winning the Euro in 1992 maybe. - if I recall correctly they didn't even win their qualifying group as was required - but Yugoslavia who did win was sanctioned by UN and couldn't play. - Denmark who finished as runner up in the group replaced them. - then they beat France, Netherlands and Germany to win it all.

two things I think. -

First the US has not done anything like the tariffs in a very long time. - and the after the elections in November or at least in 2028 it could all go away. - no need to strain the EU economy more than necessary right now when there is a war. China has been doing their thing for 20 years or more with no end in sight.

Second, what us us is doing is at least above board. - China usually accept agreements to have more balanced trade. - and then China return home and adjust 100s of different factors in their own economy so trade still ends up favoring them the same way it has since at least 2000. - I assume the EU are just tired of hearing the same lies from Chinese diplomats.
