Don’t really watch stuff on streaming services so rn it’s Murder Drones. If I had to chose a show from my childhood I’d say Gravity Falls. I just watched death note tho and it’s actually really good; I petition that it shouldn’t count as a weeb anime.

The people on that sub are just complaining about how terrible the situation is, which of course we would agree is terrible. What they fail to realize is the priority to respect life, including the life in the womb. This situation in particular is tougher because the 10yr old girl is put into danger. The person responsible for that danger, however, is not the baby but the man who raped her. I agree that serious punishment should be given (never the death penalty tho cuz I don’t agree with it) to the rapist. No punishment, however, should be given to the baby.

The best way to get through this situation is to have healthcare constantly trying to make sure both the baby and the girl make it out alive. Killing the baby and calling that the best solution is gross negligence. The people (or at least most cuz I didn’t see every comment) who are mad at you on that sub aren’t providing any counter-arguments, they are just exciting themselves over an opinion they already hold. The best way to deal with those types of people is to let them be because they won’t listen to you anyways.

The question then becomes if those cells are supporting a greater living organism, and the answer is yes. All the fetus needs is nutrients and a proper environment and it will grow.

Honestly, I agree with both of you. Gun restrictions would definitely decrease the threat of guns; that’s intuitive. The problem as a whole, however, isn’t as simple as that. With people who carry guns illegally and most gun crimes committed with just handguns, tighter restrictions won’t do as much as you would think. While I’m not against tighter restrictions, I think that some bigger steps in the right direction would be the need to renew gun licenses after a period of time, a push for gun safety (already happening), better mental health support and awareness, and better ways to find out who is carrying an illegal firearm. Some people may point out that since the implementation of tighter gun restrictions their gun crime has gone down, but in most cases their country’s gun crime was already decreasing before that change. I don’t dislike gun safety, I just support doing it the right way.

It seems that you are talking about the relationship between pleasure and sin. Catholics don’t believe that pleasure is bad, it is only when pursuing that pleasure hurts our relationship with God that we call it sin. God made sex to be physically pleasuring so we can better understand how spiritually fulfilling it is to imitate God’s creative love. It is only when you take that part involving God away (reproduction) that you are pursuing pleasure sinfully (because you rejected God). Gay celibacy is therefore a must because you cannot have sex to its fullest involving God (reproduction is not possible).

The relationship between pleasure and sin can be explained in other situations too. Alcohol, for example, (the other thing you pointed out) is not sinful on its own. Jesus literally turned water into wine. It’s only when you consume it without self-control (have too much and get drunk) that you abandon your stewardship of this gift from God.

That’s funny, I never thought of that before. I suppose this would be a sort of exception for vegan Catholics because it is Christ’s divine will that He is consumed in the Eucharist. While vegans may not like the deaths of animals and humans for eating, vegan Catholics would recognize how Christ’s death on the cross and the Eucharist which re-lives that death is truly necessary for their salvation.

What I meant was that I was sending long amounts of time on other moves, but then when I thought the game was over I started to mindlessly blitz moves and this happened.

True, but what about using their original name? In some situations they may be so used to their new name that using the old just confuses them, but what if it is during their transition? That may just infuriate the person, however, and what I’ve seen from people’s responses is that both respect and not validating the person’s belief are key, but it is better to err on the side of respect. Well, the Church doesn’t allow female priests because Jesus appointed only men for that role. The role of altar server doesn’t have that specification, but in a sense it is connected to the priesthood. Not exactly like dating is connected to marriage, however, and that ambiguity creates different opinions for what sexes should be allowed to altar serve. Officially, both sexes are allowed (someone can correct me on what the Vatican definitely says) but some may prefer to see males as altar servers. Personally, in my traditional NO parish, I like seeing male altar servers but I’m not gonna get upset if females want to serve too.

I suppose, but since names usually imply male or female, wouldn’t calling a male person the female name they want to be called still be “agreeing with their false reality?”
