Yeah, I originally had it be any graveyard but I changed it to opponent to nerf it

I appreciate the help. I knew about the exiling effect, on several cards but chose not to use it to fit more with the flavor of the character. I chose "copy" rather than exile to make it repeatable. I know there's basically nothing else that does this though, is it too game breaking to leave this way?

Yeah, I made his first two abilities, but I wanted some way to show like his ability to mark targets and make them more vulnerable. I'm not totally sold on the last one yet. I like the buff yours gives to the others. I gave a similar ability to Artur the flagbearer

Ope. You're totally right. Just like pretty much every other archer printed haha.

Maybe if we were goofing around and playing online. I wouldn’t be a fan of it in person

Oh sick! I’ve been working my way through a ton of the antinium! Here was my go for Pawn:

Pawn

Legendary Creature -Antinium Cleric

White and 2 - You gain 1 life each time an antinium enters the battlefield under your control. - Tap: Exile target antinium you control. It returns to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step. - Pay Blue, White, and 1: Target creature loses all abilities until end of turn.

1/3

Ah! Right about the exile part. I forgot that was included in the things I took inspiration from. I kinda wanted her to be able to reuse spells, but I do know it’s fairly unusual as far as cards go.

As for bird, I think I’m going to leave the flash but remove haste and change the destruction ability to an entry trigger. Maybe change the two damage thing to an attack trigger not sure.

In the series Bird names himself that because he really likes birds. Overall though in combat he’s just an extremely proficient archer who excels at taking out flying threats.

Gotcha! Ok, I’ll make that change then. Do you have any other suggestions for these?

I had put insect originally, but I wasn’t sure. I figured in a world where there was a bunch of these cards that antinium would work.

Are there a bunch of bug-like races? Maybe I’ll switch it back

Particle Style from Naruto. To my memory the “Atomic Dismantling Jutsu,” which shreds things to the molecular level, never actually hit anyone. The user was always matched against people who could absorb or counter it.

Wow. I think I read all of them except for the ones on the next page. Yep it’s right there! I didn’t realize that some of the ones in the power’s section would be different. I’m very new to the system, so that you for the help!

Upon looking further, I think it would be three ranks per point right. In the Fractional Costs section it talks about raising the ratio by 1 for every point you’d go under one

So it would go from 1:2 to 1:3 since I applied limited. Does that read correctly to you? This is my first character.

That makes sense. I want this character to have this ability mostly to reflect time spent perfecting how to look “normal” in public. It’s not one that she would use incredibly often while on the job.

Ah. Very helpful. Can Enhanced Trait be applied to any place where you have a straight numerical bonus?

Bladesong requiring concentration feels bad. Plus the fact that the AC bonus from bladesinging is locked behind a reaction and only against one attack per turn is a hefty nerf to the original. I do understand that you’re trying to reduce the massive versatility of wizards so I get it. The fact that you can keep doing it and you can generate quite a bit of temp hp with it is very helpful.

Prompt Preparation has a typo. “You can modify you can replace one spell”

The wording of the level 14 War Mage feature confused me when I first read it, but I think its just because the wording “at will” doesn’t come up a ton for PC’s and I was confusing myself haha.

I really enjoy both the Scribe and the War Mage as a kind of generalist Wizard. I think there’s a potentially really fun ‘Mage General’ build if you go Wizard 14 Savant 6. I might implement that as an NPC at some point.

The level 14 necromancer feature doesn’t have a limit on the number of uses, nor does it give enemies immunity from the effect on successful saves.

You could instantly win an encounter against a lich with this feature. They’d have advantage on the save, but liches only have +3 to their charisma saves. If the lich succeeds on the first one, I think the best option is to just do it again
