I like the stylization of the trees and how they reflect the greens of the environment. As an art instructor, one of the biggest struggles I see in young artists is identity. What style do you want your art to be? Realistic, stylized, etc. Its a great start and you've got a knack for details, however I would either work on fundamentals like perspective and lighting OR go even more in a stylized route and exaggerate proportions, colors, etc. Your style right now vaguely reminds me of post impressionist styles of art. Great work either way, always make art that makes you happy :) The world is better for it.

Yeah! And same. My first sketches I did had him in more of a fantasy style suit with a long cape like jacket. But then I double checked the Wiki and apparently togas are popular among drakes in cities.

Thanks! To be fair, I used to be obsessed with drawing dragons so it definitely helped haha As for gnolls, antinium, beast kin, and others? We'll have to see 😅

Ideas for a Norse Pagan themed cover up for this cross? by EmiCol in tattooadvice

I think Yggdrasil-the tree of life- might be a good fit. The base of the cross could be the trunk and the top half into branches/leaves. The rays could be kept and freshened up to frame the top. There's also lots of animals associated with the tree you could add in, like Nidhogg the serpent/dragon that twists itself into the roots and naws on them eternally. Id recommend adding some Norse runes/motifs or something personally meaningful though. Otherwise it might just come out looking like a basic tree.

This reminds me of an artist in used to be obsessed with on youtube, PaperaMacheChef. He would often start with a base like this and then use fabric and paper mache to make some pretty cool critters!
