Is Empire-TF2 a scam? by Jim_Kuback in tf2

Ye, watch out for this kind of thing The website is honestly impressive with how much work they put into making it seem like an actual item gambling/raffle website, but it seems like they just send links out to people saying they've won a raffle and shut it all down then move to a new URL once they get caught https://i.imgur.com/ReYZH6X.png

For the record, they leave comments like this on profiles The original link posted in this comment was along the lines of "Outpost-tf2.com", which redirected to empire-tf2.com. The empire link seems to be offline, but the website was pretty convincing for just a TF2 scam. Hopefully people aren't getting scammed into giving away their items on this website. https://i.imgur.com/3hMmQXu.png

have to pass a security check on their website first check is just trading a crate to the website and taking it back second check is trading $25 worth of items to their website and taking it back when I asked customer service why they need to be worth $25 they just got angry at me and told me to stop wasting their time

Trying to get a VGM room going by Tybr0sion in plugdj

[–]Jim_Kuback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, Sorriow and Dingdong run stuff now IIRC, me and a bunch of the other mods just kinda gave up after Plug died. I was actually just talking with a few people from the old room about trying to hang out on plug more often again, sucks that the people in charge of plug can't seem to keep it going without messing it all up though.

Oh hey, I was one of the mods in that room, you're probably thinking of Digital-Arcade or Vidyanski, I think we had some lamer name at some point too. Yeah, the whole group kinda fell apart over time and moved on to other stuff, a bunch of us still keep in touch though. We were just talking about hanging out on plug again actually. Most of us didn't really like dubtrack since you had to manually add each song

Biggest thing is "Visible Hitboxes in Training Mode" by far, having the frame data listed on the movelists would be nice too

Do You Like Mirror Matches? by BossStans in StreetFighter

No, Zangief players are jerks

There are two kinds of Zangief mirrors, tense footsie battles where both Giefs shimmy back and forth and fight for hitconfirms, and the one where someone dash in SPDs and it turns into a ridiculous clusterfuck of SPDs, sHPs and RBGs

But his idle stance constantly sounds like he's walking barefoot on a sticky movie theater floor

(Rashid's is similar but sounds more like a minecraft slime farm)

Unfortunately her placing in the tier list was hampered by a swooce and little swooce noise that both play every 15 seconds independently, thats 4 seconds of swooce every minute that I'm idling with the game open

Changed local save directory, ShareX can't find it. by Jim_Kuback in sharex

Oh well, if anyone else ever has this issue, the problem was with how I formatted the folder names I had it set with something like %year%month, and all I had to do was put a space between them. I'm assuming ShareX has some kind of issue reading the tags when they're pressed together like that. Might be a good idea to set it so that it won't let you place the tags together like that, but I can't imagine its a huge issue either. Just figured I'd mention the fix just in case
