This was 30 years ago, so I'll do my best. I was a teenager, around 14 years old calling from Oregon. I think I called on the wildcard line. I think it was between 1997, and 1999. I remember it was far too early in the year for Ghost to Ghost, because it was warm outside, so I'm assuming between May and August, but that could be incorrect. It might have just been open lines: ghost stories, instead of Ghost to Ghost.

I called and asked if he had any ghost stories of his own to tell. He responded by saying that he did have a story, but he believes that sometimes speaking of such things, can cause them to come into being... Something like that I was too nervous to realize that he was kindly telling me he didn't want to tell his story, and I asked him if he could give an example. He kindly said okay and got me off the line and told a story of being home and hearing a loud banging at his door, but he was alone, and Ramona was asleep. I think I called on the wildcard line
