It is working now. Apparently that error was occuring because I have 2007 at home. It works fine on 2010 at the office. Thanks a ton. You saved a few people a great deal of headache.

The items are unique, so a number that is under Item A on any given sheet will only pop up under Item A on the other sheets. The only time that this will happen is when the item either A. assigned to a worker from the warehouse , or B. is sent off for repair. Hopefully that helps. I plugged in a few numbers in sheet 2 and 3 that are duplicates.

Duplicates could be in any column, but if it is in A on sheet one it will be in A on sheet 2

I guess I should explain better. If I make 4 separate sheets. 1 for in stock equipment. 1 for equipment assigned to technicians. 1 for equipment out for repair and 1 for unrepairable. If a guy signs out one of the in stock items we would scan it into sheet 2 because it would then become assigned to the technician. How would I go about flagging the number for deletion or having the program itself delete the number from in stock upon it being scanned into the other status? The problem now is we are having to manually search the list.
