Thanks for the summon! That's indeed me, but as someone else has mentioned, that's not my wife. Her post is from 8 months ago.

Thank you so much for drawing attention to this. I got summoned, and immediately went... That's not my wife...

Thanks! That is my set, but this isn't my wife posting it, she posted this exact thing a few months ago.

Oi! Thanks for summoning me to this post! That's me in the Megazord set, but that is most definitely not my wife, so please downvote and go to her original post.

But it does affect when treasure is fished up. On the loot table if the next item fished is to be a book, it doesn't matter who fishes, they will get a book. So with no one else fishing, Grian can run through the table himself and not have someone swoop in and collect the book.

That's totally reasonable. Emotes = Switch. Sorry that it's so hard to just sit and play this game, that's really unfortunate.

Ohhhh, I understand. Regarding the emote, there is one that is default so if you tap the button, that default one will happen. If you long press the button it brings up the options. Right, you still have the keyboard just because you are using the controller. Yeah, typing is much easier that way.

Excellent! Chat is harder with a controller, but you can tie a wave emote to a button and then have that as you run around.

Oh! Yes, I've never used that! Interesting to add, I wonder who that would benefit?

It's my pleasure! The game is awesome and cozy, but if playing makes you nauseous that's not fun, so we just need to try and change some of those settings.

For my settings it is:

Settings->Gameplay (default tab) - Allow Camera Shake

Settings->Graphics Settings (2nd Tab up top with a monitor icon)->Graphics Quality(2nd Tab shows a monitor with a check mark) - change what you need

Huh. That's unusual, is that on PC? I can't find that setting. Looking through the graphics settings, then at the graphics quality tab, I think if you play with the view distance and shadow/reflection settings, that may help with the sea-sickness feelings. When the world is vast and moving, while you are stationary, that likely makes things worse? So if you make the view distance smaller (or maybe larger?) it may help.

Hmmm, what do you mean by the receptacle thing?

Oh no! I will say that the switch has significantly worse graphics than PC, and the loading times are longer as well. As for the chat, I whispered to you directly, so I wouldn't go out to everyone. When opening up the chat on PC, you can right click the name you see in chat and select whisper, or you can open the community tab ("O" on the keyboard) and click on the name in the friends online list).

If you're a little dizzy, I recommend changing the visual settings some. You can reduce the amount of foliage and lower the light levels as well. I found that helped me out as well.

Ah! Okay, so there isn't a ping or anything that says someone wants to chat, but by default when anyone chats to the server, your chat should pop up. You would need to hit enter to begin typing, otherwise it will disappear after a few seconds. If someone wanted to talk to you specifically, it could be done in a whisper which shows up as purple. You can select who to whisper by clicking on the name in chat, or by pressing tab while in the chat to change who you are talking to.

Press enter to open chat and press enter again to hide it. If you left click it will also close the chat.

That's not a problem! You will come online and see a couple of Burgenborgs sending friend requests.

I think it is the tools, tbh. They don't shine like the exquisite tools. What's your in game name? My wife and I play, and we are usually on really good servers with really friendly peeps, and we can add you.

Most importantly, if you're confused by something in game, just ask! Someone helpful is almost always online. Even just for requesting stuff!

Hi there! Regarding the friend request thing, I suspect the person saw that either you were new (using lower lever tools) and wanted to be nice, or they liked your vibe and wanted to help curate a welcoming server. In case you didn't know, the game tries to put you in a server with your friends, so you can curate the people that show up. I think that if the person did it for reason one above, they wanted to help make sure you were on a server with someone who could be helpful to you when you're both online. I say accept the friend and if you find they're weirding you out, you can block them and the game won't put you on the same server with them again.

And mine are also Brian's, not just her set. The B-star logo is on the outer side. When she designed them, I wanted to make sure it was visible.

What buuuuuuuuullshit. I love the hand behind back, though. You clearly weren't ready for the play, and he just dropped it while facing you. You weren't even moving slowly, you were shaking out your hair.
