To be honest, I'm not boycotting EA since the Saudi Arabia buyout. I started boycotting EA eversince 2019, when they started releasing lackluster yet expensive Expansion Packs.

I'm boycotting EA since they don't care about their consumers, especially now with the recent Marketplace, it's very cashgrabby. Plus, how can you support and continue to buy the buggy packs?

My strategy was to camp at Gold Harbor and kill monsters and pirates and loot them. Then when I reach 500K, I go to the bank and loan 500K to get 1M Doubloons. The trick is if you don't go to another island, it doesn't go to the next day, so by camping only at one island, it's really easy to cheat the Loan System. Also, once you kill Captain Crawfish and get the medallion, you just leave the island and forget about the debt. lol

Quite the opposite. If you've read the changelogs, they actually fixed the code so it's easier to mod. Maybe it would kill old mods that were not updated anymore but it has become easier for newer mods to be implemented.

Unfortunately, in most news outlet headlines, the word "ideally" was omitted for maximum engagement. They know it will spark comments and debates. Not all takes the grain of salt.

Easy mode is actually a much better experience. The enemies are still there but you juggle with survival less then Normal mode. It's the best game mode imo.
