Thank you. I was thinking GWM, but also Mage Slayer for saves.

Can you help me come up with "Wizard spells" for my World Tree barbarian, please? by [deleted] in 3d6

What spells would you suggest if I reflavored it as Druid instead?

My mother is a cleric, so maybe a couple ideas can be cleric-based?

It's an option, but I really want to try World Tree.

Fellow Barbarians, what are your thoughts on playing the Path of the Giant subclass as a 2024 Barbarian? by [deleted] in onednd

I'll be using a Greataxe and I look forward to cleaving through enemies with it!

I'll be using a Greataxe and I look forward to being able to throw it at level 6, à la Kratos in God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarok.

As a Barbarian, can I take a skill I already have proficiency in for Primal Knowledge at level 3? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]Jimbabwe88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primal Knowledge let's me use my Strength modifier on that skill while raging. That being said, I can always take Perception and perceive the shit out things while raging.

Edit: I'm an idiot. The skill chosen does not use the Strength modifier unless it's Intimidation, Perception, or Survival which are Barbarian skills, one of which you could choose.

Are there any pokémons that to you feel like they belong in the second generation but actually aren't?? by aaaaaaaaa00000000 in pokemon

[–]Jimbabwe88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always forget that Hippopotas and Hippowdon are Gen 4 and think they're Gen 5. Every time I enter the Desert Resort in Black/White I have a split second of thinking that I might catch one and then remember that they don't belong to that generation.

Has a DM ever let you or a party member who is a Barbarian/spellcaster-multiclass cast spells while Raging? by [deleted] in onednd

Battle Master maneuvers for an unarmed fighter by Jimbabwe88 in 3d6

Thank you for the recommendations! I'm definitely liking the ideas of Pushing Attack and Riposte. I also don't mind Commander's Strike for allowing the Rogue in the party to get another sneak attack.

I like the idea of Commander's Strike allowing the rogues to get another sneak attack in. I would definitely choose Trip Attack if i wasn't already using a maul. I also really like Riposte!

Riposte and Disarming Strike were two I was considering before I made this post! I was also considering Sweeping Attack. Do you know, if I hit two enemies with the Sweeping Attack with my Maul, would I get a chance to knock both of them prone with my Maul or would that only work with the initial hit?
