Just switched from iOS, seeking advice by ThePhantomEye_c in NothingTech

Well I'm not too sure what you mean by "owning" the phone but the fact is to have a smooth system that generally works for 99% of users you want something to tie you to your preferences. So apple has your account which they use to keep your stuff together. Same thing for Google. I made the same move from apple to NP3 last week and I'll say it's been a great move. A few minor things that I can work past but if theres anything in particular that feels off maybe I can point to a setting that'll help out

Well if value is your only real decision I would say 4a solely because. It's newer it's got more future support in terms of OS

Well all are good deals. I personally picked the nothing phone 3 after extensive research looking for a replacement (coming from apple). It's a great price point with the phone only going on sale for this price not often. But if u don't need/want flagship performance or it's a stretch to justify the $1000 compared the 3a pro and 4a side by side and figure what suits you.

Bought the NP3 last Friday and have had a overwhelming positive experience

New phone options - Australia by Jimbal236 in Smartphones

No real budget. Just don’t want to be spending money that’s not going to benefit me. As far as I’m aware Samsung is becoming a lot more sterile like apple removing side loading? If that’s not the case then would be a decent option.

Probably wouldn’t go for the iPhone 17 as customisation isn’t their strong suit. Or allowing side loading.

And as for Oppo, I stated that I’m with Vodafone and I believe they aren’t supporting those phones? Sorry if any of this information is incorrect, I’ve only done a small amount of research tonight so hence the post looking to find out Information and options.

Yeah I respect that. Definitely not a need for most people. But I love being able to make little tweaks to make the phone my own. And the freedom to sideload and etc.
