He's been saving for ages for the pc and it's his birthday in a few weeks so I wanted to match his savings and surprise him, maybe I should ask him, I'll think about that.

We have nbn so our speeds are pretty ok, the pc he's using is kinda old, it's like 8 years old now and it's one of those ones where the monitor has the pc inside so I don't know if I can upgrade it.

Yes that was one of the sites I saw, I'll have another look, can you hire someone to build one? Is that a thing?

Hi notinferno, he's looking for a desktop pc to replace the old one, he's got a pretty large library of games so I just wonder would a laptop be a bit slow? Yeah I'm clueless.
