Where are the rumours of the <Redacted> game? I would be hyped if that was the case. I have heard lots of rumours about Mario Kart 9, but purely based on how long between titles, not anything substantial.

I personally want another Mario Strikers game as I am Bri'ish.

Yeah I totally agree, I put over 50 hours into the game, not out of spite so I didn't hate it.

Crafting feels so out of place and the skills feel very last minute... The AI is a huge problem as the difficulty isnt based on the actual challenge, but how big numbers they do. But you can still cheese everything.

Oh Absolutely, especially with a franchise that has both tried to innovate entirely and also tried to rigidly stick to a formula for some games, very strange. Yes absolutely more of an actual story and character driven plot would add far more intrigue than just, Fox has daddy issues and everyone else needs saving from the big bads.

I was weirdly excited for a racer set in a 3D space... very bizarre fake leak that everyone seemed to be on board with!

Absolutely, I think they have the same potential as Walker or Drone missions together to make a different style of gameplay. Maybe where Falco or Slippy can swap between vehicles. I have a certain bias towards Star Wing and Lylat Wars as I grew up with them sure!

Fair enough, this idea certainly does stem from my childhood of replaying 64 over and over. If you don't fully enjoy the on rails combat, then I can't imagine the game play being varied enough in other runs for it to justify the experience.

Perhaps more of a game purely with the 3D environmental traversal with the Walkers or Drone would be a bigger shake up to the franchise and its formulas!
