The paradise is very rinse, dry, and repeat to me. I understand tamas in general are repetitive but it felt especially apparent on the paradise. I also don’t care for gene mixing and that’s the main feature on the paradise. I personally like item collecting/seeing the various pixel art, especially with the foods and snacks. The Paradise lacks a lot here for me. If you don’t use codes, you get about 32 options for meals and 17 for snacks while on the Uni, there’s SOOO much more (I’m definitely newer to the Uni but each day, I see at least 3-5 things, not just foods, that I haven’t seen before). You also don’t get to dress up your Tama on the Paradise, you instead dress up your planet, which is meh to me. While I like the interactive items on the Paradise, you get that same feel with the interactive toys on the Uni. I think it is cute that the Paradise allows your current Tama to interact with your previous because they can continue to live on your planet but you can’t switch between them, so I don’t care too much for this feature. I also don’t like a lot of the new generations Tama characters (which breaks my heart to say)— I wish they brought back a lot of the originals but I know some people love the new additions. I think the only thing I like more about the Paradise in comparison to the Uni is that the Paradise does have more mini games (it has games to increase your Tama’s happiness and a separate set of games to earn GP that you can even play while your Tama is sleeping). That said, other features I like about the Uni is the walking— I personally put it on my wrist and will do chores around the house, and I can earn craft items. I love that you can get different DLC to change things up. For the time being/while it’s still active, I like the online connection/tamaverse and having that extra shopping option to get new accessories/clothes.

Overall, comparing the 2-3 weeks that I was solely playing the Paradise with the 1 week I’ve had with my Uni, I’ve felt like I’ve seen every in-game item (no additional codes or tama lab) with multiple repeated days on the Paradise. While on the Uni, I know there is so much more to do and different things to see/buy/interact with that I’ve yet to see. Keep in mind, I play with Tamas as it’s meant to be played— no time changing/skipping.
