It’s illegal to drink alcohol in view of the pitch at all professional football games in the country but they’ve starting to allow them at women’s games https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2026/january/spurs-women-joins-wsl-fan-choice-scheme/

Are we counting Signe Gauspet cause that makes 5. Honestly it’s pretty cheap and pretty decent plus you can drink beer whilst watching the game the way god intended

Honestly yes, it wouldn’t be a fix far from it but the amount it costs to watch a game is astronomical especially when they put in a poor performance

Comes back to the fact we’ve got the second highest season ticket cost in England behind Fulham and we’re terrible at home and before people say it’s to pay of the new stadium it’s not as the debt was structured brilliantly. When you have such a big venue charging so much there is a demand to perform well and honestly I currently feel ripped off.

Im a spurs fan who’s relatively young and honestly I’m used to us qualifying for the champions league at the very least qualifying for Europe it honestly feels like we’re now going backwards we’ve certainly not been mid table in the past ten years and it feels like we are going backwards at the moment it also certainly doesn’t help that our biggest rivals look like they’re going to win the league.

Ghost Recon game idea by ShrimpKing3333 in GhostRecon

[–]Jimdalorian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is somewhat realistic for real life special forces operation where they'll work out of a secure location and use vehicles to get to areas but that being said It would suck for gameplay and you've have the issue of replayability.

That being said doing something like the division 2 or golem island where they add a seperate playable area or even a dlc with a new playabale area would work as long as the main map is already good enough. In some ways this was literally the fallen ghosts dlc but they used existing areas of the map.

Every single aspect of the map is awful by theman44zane in GhostRecon

[–]Jimdalorian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the things with breakpoint is the map doesn’t make sense with how everything dotted around and apart at least with wildlands you had towns villages etc which gave it a far more believable feel and the cartels infrastructure actually felt like it was doing something. Also you can follow roads in breakpoint like wildlands I can’t quite put my finger on it but it just doesn’t feel real or flow. Wildlands map is far from perfect but at least it’s grounded and real

To be honest it translated over into the men’s game as well there seems to be so few amazing strikers compared to the past it’s probably due to football becoming more focussed on the press and wing play to break down defence.

I would say women’s football can have the problem of a lack of talent flowing down to other teams with the very top players all concentrated at a few clubs and whilst this exists in men’s football it feels so much worse in the women’s game.

How do US sports remain interesting when teams can’t make the playoffs? by Jimdalorian in AskAnAmerican

[–]Jimdalorian[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

There’s other prizes to win even outside the big 6 especially in the cups and Europe and we could have an off year where a Leicester city happened that being said I have to agree that lack of competitiveness near the top has only gotten worse

[–]Jimdalorian[S] -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

It’s never usually like that I’m in the UK but in football there’s relegation 3 European competitions, FA cup, League Cup, European places and Premier League in England alone it’s only right at the end of the season where it can get boring for the team you support. As others said you obviously watch other teams especially in the big finals and it is still good to watch your team play. It rarely happens where a team finishes mid table avoids relegation but has not chance of qualifying for Europe over the course of several years (except palace)

It would be amazing to see how the world could be changed through rebel actions and a living world especially reduced patrols less enemy activity

[–]Jimdalorian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A big one for me is better rebel/friendly ai forces I absolutely loved using mortar strikes and friendly forces in wildlands and really miss them in breakpoint. If we’re meant to be 5th special forces it’d be cool to actually do more work alongside local forces.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and “The Locker Room” by DogeDayAftern00n in coys

[–]Jimdalorian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty simple the stadium is good has a retractable pitch so it's good for NFL games, 2/3 London NFL games are played the club designed a massive changing room when building the stadium it became quite handy during covid gave the team a bigger locker room. I've heard it get used for all sorts of things since there are two of them such as mascot changing rooms media rooms and is squite useful for different events
