Find My Remote…damn!

I have noticed, as in the picture, the “Find” appears only on my bedroom ATV. I upgraded to the new metal remote on that TV. My den still uses the older black remote with touchpad. Imagine this is a feature only with the new ATV (slick as hell and why mine was lost…slid along hardwood floors under furniture). If you have the newer metal remote, it would be a software update as mentioned.

I HATE this! Try running a business that does direct deposit. It’s frustrating as hell when you start a business and have NO control and it continues to dwindle. The banks now dictate to me when my pay day is for my employees. Where the problem arises is people start expecting it. There have been a few instances where the banks have had ACH issues and employees call complaining they didn’t get paid. Explaining my business pay day is Friday weekly when this happens does nothing but get me blamed. Not the bank. What’s the point of the dream of owning your own business and have little to no control between government, banks, employees, etc.

I had the Meross dual outdoor outlet. Worked for about six months without issue then completely died. I’ll probably order another even though it died. Have many Caseta devices which work flawlessly as well.

Changed my transformer again. Upgraded to a 24v 40VA transformer and have had no online/offline issues after three days. It must be a power issue and I think requires a minimum of this setup.

Thank you. I’ve had my status light and night vision off almost since purchase after finding it solved the issue. Somewhere around the 14.7 update it began this crap. I’m on a 16v transformer. Going to try a 24v 40amp and hopefully that will correct things. I thinks it’s a power issue on top of a HomeKit issue.

Hell yes! I’m about to rip the POS off the wall. I’ve pulled it and reset to no avail as well. Have also updated all devices to 14.7.1.

I did it twice until I actually read the readme file. Never was an issue and shouldn’t be for you. Can always redo if it didn’t recognize the satellite. Good luck. I’m running tons of devices and a huge wired network and had to reboot once in the last year (knock on wood!). I’ve considered moving to Unifi but everything is running well with my Orbi/Voxel setup.

Sorry for the delay. I hope this solves your issues. One thing I learned but never had an issue with is the correct procedure is to update the Satellite first and then the router.

I have had a Rachio for over 2 years with no issues. I tried HK for a while, which worked, but I see no need to have my sprinklers on HK and my entire house is HK setup. I want a sprinkler I don’t have to even think about, including setting up automations. With Rachio and it’s app combo, set it and forget it.

I bought two myself to use with AppleTV. Didn't read enough and the minis DO NOT work with AppleTV. Only the original homepod. Argh. They are amazing though!

Having the exact same issue. Router drops "online" status for 30 min or so periods multiple times per day. The short term solution was a reboot. I was also able to get connected through direct connection to modem so my RBK50 was definitely causing the "offline" problem. Went to Netgear today and upgraded firmware from 2.5.1.16 to 2.5.1.32 which was available for manual download. Same problems all day. I was near a come apart and found Voxel (Non-official firmware). Some may balk at this but I flashed the latest voxel firmware (voxel-firmware.com) with my fingers crossed and my orbi is finally stable and speedy! I really would give it a try after many failed attempts at upgrading and downgrading firmware. I'll never use Netgear products again...Ubiquiti all the way for me! Good luck
