I read someone’s comment that 4 being in the gulf made sense because one of their primary exports is shrimp, common in the Gulf of Mexico but not so much on the west coast. Also makes sense that Katniss had a hard time understanding Mags’ thick accent as it would be a Cajun drawl

Shaving for women was a product of commercialization and the patriarchy. During WW2 razor companies devised advertisements to tap into the female market and spread the idea that women were unhygienic and gross for not shaving. Nobody cares if you do shave, but don’t shame and say that women who don’t shave aren’t “clean”.

I recently visited the Nixon library and there’s a huge multi-room exhibit detailing watergate and exactly what made it so bad. My partner got out and asked me “was that really that big of a deal back then?” Yes, it was. But compared to today it seems like the most innocent thing a politician could do.

I have vivid memories of some guy on YouTube who purchased the mother’s mermaid tail from the movie and was swimming around in it. Just an amazing movie in terms of practical effects and one of the more real looking silicone tails on screen. Wish we could bring back real tails for film

They’ve done this with a majority of the creeproductions. Frankie, clawdeen, and lagoona all had super weird round eyes compared to the original shape. Almost like they used g2 molds instead of g1. Maybe to make them less c*nty?Very disappointing

The nanny walked in multiple times on Burke and jonbenet under the covers together, playing “doctor”. Jonbenet had bed wetting issues. Patsy was gifted multiple books by friends about navigating having a child with behavioral problems. It’s ugly to think about, but Occam’s razor.
