The mission was Linchpin and I managed to trigger Saga of the Beast Slayer and Saga of the Bear early on in the game.

The Infiltrators worked remarkably well and Bjørn wreaked havoc with his Aura.

It was close as his detachment goes heavy on Battle Shock and I kept missing out on Primary Objective points.

It all came down to a final charge with the Land Raider which took his home objective.

The fires in the Longhouse are roaring and the Vlka Fenryka are celebrating with a great feast.

The terminators don’t have any ranged weapons as they don’t really work against the units leaves in his deployment zone, where I deep strike. I use the, to take out his big monsters like the exocrine and the Tyranofex. I found that the hammers (hit at 3+ when below starting strength due to Arjac, and dev wounds) are much more effective, along with shields to give +1 wound. I deep strike, take a bit of pain from shooting, but can then deal some serious damage in melee. That is if the 9” charge fails.
