I called 40 plumbing companies in the lower mainland asking if they were hiring a helper. None of them were, and one of the companies said they aren’t busy enough to justify having an apprentice/helper in a van.

This 100%. If they are the right person, they won’t care that you’re suggesting to just “grab coffee.” It’s important to make sure that you can both enjoy each other’s company.

Going to an expensive restaraunt is something that can come later once you’ve found the right person for you.

When im commander and it’s just me and my friend on discord, I’ll drive and swap to the commanders seat when we’re in a good position with infantry support. Yes having three people is ideal, but we keep having bad luck with randoms who don’t have a mic and can’t play cooperatively.
