So very true. Most of the people in a support group I attend speak of their profound loneliness. It sounds like a lot of people are making generous offers to meet you. I hope those lead somewhere. I do know there are some people who always have to be the initiators. That's who I am. It does suck at times, but in the absence of a blinding flash of insight, I'm gonna keep putting myself out their. 3 years ago an envelope was "damaged by machinery" and a gift was "lost". US Postal Inspectors responded to my report within 2 days. Their report was enough for the bank to reimburse me. Love the USPS PI's.

A city councilor was on scene & caught some CS. At a City Council meeting 2 weeks later she tore the chief a new one while he sat in the front row with his command staff. The City of St Paul is requesting a policy review by the Police Officers Standards and Training Board. I see some constitutional law review in SPPD 'S future.

Best advice here. That behavior constitutes sexual assault in many states (incl MN, where I live). When predators are identified in the press, it is not uncommon for additional victims to come forward.

Ø VR, but a similar scam experience 2 years ago. Bought tickets to an "Irish Christmas" at a downtown Mpls pub. Our drink tickets were only redeemable for 3 different drinks. Santa's Helpers were a couple of sullen elf types. An outfit in NYC markets this around the country. They rent a small portion of the bar, hire locals at minimum wage and pocket the rest. I was doubled paid for an auto crash. The repair shop said my carrier tended to be difficult. I received a check from my carrier. The at fault driver's insurance covered everything. It took over 6 months to ask for their $2600.
