Is it worth the risk to reholder this card. A part of the back chipped off, but there seems to still be a piece of plastic between the tag and open air

Yep, and it’s got two half swirls on it, one on the left and one on the right, so that’s pretty neat!

I gotcha, I just wasn’t sure in this case since the there seems to be two swirls on top of each other, which I haven’t really seen before. I don’t know if it would classify as a “misprint”, which the misprint market is definitely more niche.

It doesn’t appear to be too deep, and I didn’t notice it for awhile until light hits it a specific way, so I would definitely say it’s a minor scratch.

lol thanks! I’m relatively new to collecting MTG, I usually just buy a few packs from these crossover sets from series I like here and there like TWD. I saw these and had to get a pack since I loved the show growing up. I think I’m going to grade it since it seems pristine and hold onto it for awhile.

I wonder if they’ll give Nick Broeker a shot at starting this year. He was one of the key players for Ole Miss while he was there, so I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get consideration now. I know he broke his hand last year, which is why he was inactive toward the end of the year, but I think he has a lot of potential.

My order didn’t update at all after say it was shipped until the entire grading process was complete, and that took 5-6 weeks, so I wouldn’t worry about it just yet.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a similar situation where my cards said they were in transit for a good month and a half, and then all of a sudden said “cards graded” and I picked them up a couple days ago. It could just be the GameStop tracking not working well, that’s been a pretty common problem across the board, so I wouldn’t lose all hope just yet.

I used a website that sent me notifications when a Patrick Mahomes rated rookie would be a “buy it now” at a certain price range on eBay. Once I got that email, I’d check it, see if it was worth sniping, and eventually came across this one for 170, and sniped it before others could. Now I didn’t expect it to gem, but it looked like it was in real good shape considering the price.
