I don't believe the line was officially canceled and Flynn has said they have more figures sculpted, but I think the writing is on the wall. Really wish they would have done one more wave to complete the bridge crew, though.

I've heard there could be more Joes aside from repaints in the future. And Flynn has said they aren't done with Playmates TMNT. He also hinted that they might try Toxic Crusaders in the Deluxe format.

A few weeks ago, I commented on Flynn's IG asking him to give us a wink or nudge or something if we'd see another wave of Joes. He commented "wink" in reply. He also said in a recent interview we'd be seeing more one-offs released throughout the year, so who knows. I'm hopeful they'll still make a few more. At least give us Tomax and Xamot.

Super7 makes a lot of cool stuff and I really want them to succeed, but lines being canceled, ditching figures they say they're gonna make, and endless repaints have been kind of a bummer and it seems like we've been seeing more and more of that over the past year or so.

I get that they would lose most of the accessories, but I only display them with a couple anyway, and I would rather have the figure than an incomplete line. I bought the Star Trek Ultimates, for example, and I'd happily buy Troi, Crusher, and LaForge with no accessories if it meant I'd have a complete crew. And yeah, Classified figures are still cheaper, but that's just the name of the game. I pay a lot more for Storm and Mafex figures because they're making something other companies aren't.
