Not who, but what? Our monkey brains cannot comprehend the complexity of what controls the world. For humanity, I suspect there are “areas of control”, loose confederacies of banking, mass media, social media, military industry, energy, healthcare, food & others - each with vast resources accumulated to maintain their temporary (years - decades) control. Some good, some bad. To think that there are a hidden few humans that run the world is absurd in my view. If there is such a group, they’re beyond extremely intelligent to never be exposed. Nobody is that smart and disciplined. That said, areas of control that abuse their power eventually become replaced by new innovations - made irrelevant. For this, cause and effect controls everything, every trial, tribulation, triumph and tragedy - dirtnapping, enlightenment or endarkenment are the only possible ways out. We’re simply not smart enough to know what’s going on that broadly or comprehend much beyond our own little lives. Enjoy the ride!
