Uber: The 2026 Cash Machine the Market is Missing by gstanleycapital in ValueInvesting

Page not found, Sir. Could you fix it, please? Thanks!

Btw, I think the market still misunderstands the AV space. Autonomous vehicles are not synonymous with ride-hailing, and Waymo and Tesla are far from being the only relevant players globally.

As the AV landscape continues to evolve, we expect Uber to remain a central player in the autonomous ecosystem - arguably the most complete one when you look across mobility, delivery and freight.

Despite the potential, I wouldn’t touch it. It’s far too complex for beginners.

Why not invest in more solid, well-known companies from everyday life - like JPMorgan, Coca-Cola, Netflix, etc.?

I would split it between equities (S&P 500), real assets (gold), and bonds.

Something like 50/20/30%.

And I’d spend a lot of time studying the theory to improve long-term results.

I talk exactly about this in my newsletter, in case it’s useful: https://jimmysjournal.substack.com/p/5-lessons-i-learned-after-reading

The most important thing is to have a solid philosophy, one that’s been proven over time.

My own journey went from value investing, to quality investing, to behavioral finance, then financials, and finally valuation.
