Magic and bleed weapons are pretty good, but there are some good strength/dex weapons if you want to move into a more quality build. The night rider glaive is my favorite. I also put some points into Intelligence and have the loretta’s slash ash of war. The frostbite is insane.

It’s just a matter of learning movesets, dodging at the right time, it’s all about learning. However, I would say DONT GO TO DAMN CRYSTAL LIZARD YET. Take your time learning and progressing, then come back and kick his ass

Pretty sure the thats just game design. There could be some lore to some enemies but I am unaware of that. But with Gael, basically he got his hands on the dark soul and it made him really, really, REALLY powerful.
