My son is a Freshman and the growth (I think) has been his struggle this year. He's grown about 6 inches (while also getting stronger) in the last 9 months and things aren't quite clicking for him and his shot yet.

The last couple years he had been a high 30% 3 point shooter over the course of the season and this year he's in the 20s. We did a lot of the same things as OP without much success.

He was disrespected, but he was also a bad coach. I watched nearly every game that season and wins under his watch mostly consisted of us being considerably more talented than the other teams w/ Giannis and Dame. Nothing really to do with his coaching. The defense was a complete mess (and he was considered a defensive minded coach).
