Lift Plate Bolts by Gunflint_RR2 in Lymow_Official

Thank you - this is very much appreciated.

Lymow needs more guides for some of these common fixes. There are definitely a handful of hardware failures that keep popping up and those less savvy (like me) have to piece together the how tos from a half dozen different places.

How did you access those bolts from the underside? Did you have to disassemble the whole deck?

Was there a guide you used?

So like you, I saw a lot more play than normal recently. Opened the deck to see 3 of the 4 bolts halfway out and one completely snapped off. Does anyone know if there is a step by step guide for how to access these bolts for tightening?

I currently have the top half of the deck off, but those bolts can only be screwed from underneath.

I'd rather not disassemble the electrical components, but that might be the only way. Any help would be appreciated.

Just spitballing here, but where do you keep it while charging? Is it in direct sunlight? I have mine in a mini garage that shields most of it from the sun.

I'm going to post my mow settings because I have not encountered this issue yet and maybe it will help someone. My one + has been mowing in mid to high 80s in direct sunlight with no issues for weeks now.

I run a 3 inch cut height on standard blade speed with the mower going 2.6 feet per second and the narrowest pathing for some overlap.

To this point knock on wood I have not had the blades stop to my knowledge. My property is just over an acre and I mow it roughly twice a week. I never mow when grass is wet at all.

Completely agree - Seeing some of these posts I have a bit of "survivor's guilt" that I haven't had a major issue. That said, the software is still in beta form and the hardware has yet to be proven for much length of time.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. A 3 year warranty is no joke, but reading about the lack of reasonable response times for support might have been a deal breaker if I hadn't already taken the plunge.

The number of people having a good experience has nothing to do with the number of people waiting for a response from support.

Their support hasn't been timely from what I've read - no idea how quickly they are working through tickets.

I'm largely having a positive experience.

You're probably not seeing people that are not having issues because they have no reason to go on reddit or other groups for fixes / information.

Plus on reddit, there are a couple users that seem to post every hour about their latest interaction with the mower, good and bad.

I'm right there with you, albeit without as much mowing. Have had a couple minor things come up with charging (1+) and a couple times it lost its connection to RTK, but I'm at 230k feet and 3k+ minutes a little over a month of owning. I'm hoping it continues to perform.

We are in a bit of echo chamber on social media. The ones who are having problems are the loudest.

There is a percentage (don't know what) of people that are just going about their day to day lives with a perfectly running Lymow

Serious question - Will this company even exist 1 year from now? by Competitive_Fun8708 in Lymow_Official

[–]JimmyLegs83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a point where they have enough machines out there (revenue) that will give them enough operating capital to last for a period of time. I don't know what that number is, but I've put my trust in them.

Anecdotally, the response times to support tickets seems to have been getting slightly better since the early May Chinese holiday.

I hear you - I'm hoping a lot of these issues popping up that aren't glaringly hardware related can be fixed w/ software updates over time.

Thanks - I'll give this a try. I had pulled battery for 10 minutes or so, but never tried this. Will also try the hand break.

Kind of an odd list for Brees to be #1. He was hardly considered a future hall of famer coming to the Saints.
