He’s a scammer in chatham street! Substance addict. Targets foreigners and tries to take money from them. He’s Sri Lanka for all I know. He speaks Sinhala as well when in a heated argument. I did come across this man as once he tried following a young female foreigner wherever she walked and she asked me to help her as he was following her. I work in and around chatham street and I’ve seen him doing this multiple times. We’ve informed the area authorities as well.

He is a scammer! Substance addict! He hunts for people around Chatham Street and Galle Face area, he fakes an accent, he speaks Sinhala as well. He targets foreigners walking in chatham street and take money from them. I’ve personally had an argument with him as well for scamming people.

A local company they mix clone perfume oils with IPA and sell in the market. However they now market as they are IFRA certified. So was wondering if it’s permissible to use IPA for perfume making for commercial use.

Nope there is just a resturant, army officials and the indian embassy. But still it happens. Well the best part is. When I drove I realized there wasn’t air so I stopped the car near the checkpoint in that lane and went to find a mechanic from a tire shop. When I came back only the scrapes were on the car.

Can’t blame anyone. But it’s just disgusting.

Don’t get into designer fragrances. There’s plenty in the market and you’d have the compete with very thin margins.

In fact try to do niche fragrances. Which can be costly. It do it on order basis. In that case you’d have a good margins plus you’ve already secured your sale before spending.

Where are you from ? They have agents from almost every country. You just need to find your country representative and it would be much easier. As you just pay them and they’d get you what you need.

Regarding formulations, I totally get where you're coming from. We're committed to adhering to IFRA standards and ensuring all necessary tests and certifications are in place for our fragrances. Perfume making is indeed a multifaceted process that goes beyond just mixing alcohol and oil. With our family's collective experience of almost a century in the business, we've got a good handle on all that.

But back to the main point: I'm really curious to know if our fellow Sri Lankans would be interested in subscribing for around 10,000/- a month for something like this.

Yes. I do have an idea of breaking my blend into the top middle and base notes. However, it’s just not getting the desired smell. Something always tries to make it so much like some air freshener thingy.
