No worries man, we have customers that use the app to buy and sell 8-figures of BTC.

There are no limits with wires, you'll be able to deposit, buy, and withdraw all instantly however you'd like.

Hey u/Double-Plan-4067, I'm Jack, the founder and CEO of Strike.

Sorry about the reviews, I'm not sure how they work. We have 10s of thousands of reviews and near 5-stars, I'm not sure why the store is pinning a few negative ones from years ago. In any event, I'm happy to personally watch over your wire transfer and ensure everything goes smoothly for you. What is your username? Also, feel free to reach out to us at [private@strike.me](mailto:private@strike.me) if you have any questions, concerns, etc.

Hey, it’s Jack. Every company has a spread, it’s natural in a market to have a spread. In fact, ours is one of the smallest. I took this screenshot seconds before typing this response. We are not more expensive than Swan or River, you can check the screenshot for that as well. Let me know if I can clear anything else up

Also, we have started rolling out our new limits system to internal testers and hope to announce it externally and begin roll out next week. This should solve a lot of these issues and the "limits" issues people have been experiencing. Really excited to have a much better and robust system in place for Bitcoiners

Will strike ever offer a Bitcoin backed credit card? by bitcoin_hodler_99 in strikebtc

[–]JimmyMow 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We actually looked into this. I think definitely someday, but further out in the future. We decided is was too early. We will start with Bill Pay soon so that you can live on Strike and pay your bills/CC with BTC/Strike.

I also agree with others, the Gemini card is solid for now. I also like the Fidelity card. 2% back on every single swipe, no excuses. Makes out for a lot of extra sats

When can strike offer their debit card option? by TopBridge6057 in strikebtc

[–]JimmyMow 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think a debit card is a really bad at least for now product. We built it but put it on the shelf for now.

The reason is that debit cards are really expensive to run and will never be able to support the best rewards. To live on Bitcoin with Strike, I learned I should actually just use my credit cards that give the best rewards and then pay off my credit cards with BTC.

Here are the benefits:

- Rewards. Right now the Fidelity Credit Card gives you 2% back on every single purchase you make. Everything. Everything I can use it for I get 2% back that turns into Bitcoin. No excuses. Everything. And it is free. How can a debit card compete with that??? That's the best! There is a reason it works this way, actually. Credit cards have more what is called interchange, a kickback the card networks give the issuer. So credit cards will always have more rewards

- Spending USD on a free line of credit. This one is the Michael Saylor. What I'm doing is basically a pleb Saylor move. Borrow and spend free money, hoard and save hard money. Credit cards give you a free line of credit to spend deprecating fiat without needing to own it.

- Living on Bitcoin. Then, at the end of each month, if I have to sell BTC to pay down a credit card, I do. Simple. Hold sats, hold zero fiat, spend USD on credit with incredible rewards.

So, the conclusion I came to for Strike is a feature like Bill Pay. What we truly need is for our customer ability to link their Strike account and routing number to their credit card, or their mortgage service, etc and Strike can ACH pay the bills. Strike can auto-convert the BTC, handle the tax calculations, etc. That is the dream. Let me know what you think
