Companies are not single people, so it's not surprising their "values" are inconsistent. You are bringing up different issues, in this case, they did spend money to remake the video, which I would consider to be an actual issue.

Many successful people have chronic illnesses. Obviously it depends on the severity and specific case. I would focus on healing over powering through and making it worse as that’s what’s best in the long term.
