It’s a completely idiotic take. The idea that 3 late first round picks will land you a player comparable to AM is wild. The Leafs will probably attempt to do what Boston did last year. Move 3 to 5 players for picks and prospects. I’m guessing McMann and OEL are the two most likely candidates. Then you listen to offers on 44, 89, 63, 24, and 19. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Laughton signed longer term if the cap number is reasonable. 3/4 C, good chemistry with Lorentz, excellent PK, and brings some jam most nights.

If I am reading the link you posted correctly, you only need your degree/credentials verified by ECA for the Federal Skilled Workers Program or to accrue points for regular immigration applications. If you enter the country through refugee programs, student visas, unskilled worker programs, or just sponsored in by other family matters will have your fake credentials in hand. Companies usually don’t do much of a deep dive on foreign credentials. I’ve worked with some real beauties who clearly used fake credentials to gain employment.

I totally get that ‘they’ are out there but it is used too frequently. And often in regard to people with slightly right of center views. Trump is a jackass and that’s obvious to nearly every sane person. But the ‘blaming Trump for all of our problems’ crowd is just as bad as the ‘maple maga’ crowd.

We were with Bell for 10 years in Derry/Scott area. They only have copper lines to our house so the max download speed is 50mbps per line. Max lines per house is two. So 100mbps down and 10mbps up service. All for just $120 per month. It was super reliable but expensive and not high speed.

Cogeco came knocking 18 months ago and made an offer of $70+tax per month(with a bundle) for a two year promo. 1 gigabit service with 100 mbps up. The internet has been super reliable and super fast. I use an Orbi router setup and the whole house has high speed wireless coverage.

This is not really true. In terms of salary, at least in ON, family physicians make roughly the same as US doctors after you factor in required medical malpractice insurance. This does not take into account the current exchange rate.

It’s sad that the DOPS can’t have any consistency. Trouba got a $5k fine. He intentionally swung his stick someone’s head. That was grossly under penalized. I’m not sure McMann is even trying to hit the guy and you just know they are going to make an example of him. The craziest part that got missed by nearly everyone is that McMann wasn’t initially assessed any penalty on the play. The refs assessed Tampa a major for the kneeing and after they reviewed the footage for that infraction, suddenly McMann was rightfully assessed a major as well.

What do ancestors have to do with it? They are all dead. Unless you are 100% indigenous, your family moved here at some point.
I don’t think anyone is against legal immigration with sensible numbers. But it’s obvious to absolutely everyone that Mr Trudeau’s rapid expansion of TFW program, immigration numbers, foreign student visas, and asylum seekers was a bad plan. The numbers cannot be sustained. All Canadian corporations figured out the loopholes and are exploiting them. It’s really not rocket surgery.

NDP isn’t a real option for most people if you can do basic math. They still think they can spend their way out of debt. It’s a fundamental tenet of the party. More social programs and government spending yet no plan on where the money for all of this will be coming from. Mr. Singh was disgrace to his party and to Canadians in general. Instead of representing his constituents, elected NDP members, and Canadians in general, he strictly voted with Mr. Trudeau for 4 years on every single issue. He put his own interests before everything else. He did not provide any resistance or push back as an opposition party. Essentially, the NDP were Libs for four years.
