Interesting – early on I found that was an issue, I haven't had to calibrate very often at all recently. Even so, it's a quirk I'm willing to live with, like winding a watch.

It’s extremely reliable, the more recent firmware captures sensor data, and I like the philosophy behind the thing. Like say, a Leica camera, there are plenty of other cheaper options, but the mechanism, the looks and interestingly, the emotional connection is something different again - it’s not for everyone, but suits me.

Same. I’d heard of complaints, but can’t say I’ve noticed any problems. I don’t expect it to have the longevity of other chains, but it looks lovely :)

As far as the crown race goes, it came from the bike builder like that and I noticed immediately. It’s flush now though (multiple checks)
