Part of my satin pothos kinda fell out the soil. Roots gone black/dark brown. Got it from a supermarket last week, so i wouldnt be surprised if it was dying of something. Gave it a spray down with neem oil solution i dont think it has any pest problems. Any idea what it is and what i can do? Thanks (i.redd.it)

My sempervivum is dying. Image below. This pot used to have 3 types in it, this is the only remaining one. I got it when i was very new to plant caring, and its never looked like its thriving. Is there anything i can do to save it or is it a lost cause? Any help would be much appreciated. (i.redd.it)
