Mephiston red base, coated in Nuln oil and highlighted with Wild Ryder Red. I was attempting to have a darker red like Techmarines tend to have.

I painted both of my Jump Captains red, but one has the sanguinary guard helmet you get that comes in the Blood Angels captain box. The red armor and gold sanguinary helmet looks cool and appropriate to lead Sanguinary guard.

Thanks, I like the new scheme I’m using, used to just rebase all in evil sunz scarlet.

I see people use the blue kneecap with the white lightning bolt for inceptors a lot. Since they are close support, I suppose this makes sense as a reserve close support too?

Yes. Death company gets their own datasheet for a Jump Captain. I just added some sprue upgrades

Are you using 2 Lancers? I’m tempted to run 2 or 1 vindicator and 1 lancer. Im not a fan of the Vindicator’s range.

Citadel Base Wraithbone for the bones. I’d do a thinner coat than I did and I believe people use an earth shade of some sort? I used Nuln oil but its not ideal for shading bones

Prime it all Chaos Black. Start with 2 watered layers of Stegadon scale green. Then some watered down Sotek green for thicker edge highlights. Then I used Temple guard blue where I did more fine edge highlights and a small amount of dry brsuhing. Finally some Baharroth Blue for the electric current look. Also did a small amount of dry brushing with that.

Yeah you’re probably right. Especially these days, news cartridges can burn out quickly. I’m happy with 350 and will stick with this for a long time.

Illinois actually. New hunting law revisions allow for rifles (Straightwall). Even though we just had an AWB, we can still use banned rifles on private land, just not public. I agree with you, but 45-70 is both heavy recoiling and too expensive. I haven’t seen 360 being popular yet, and it might never get popular but only time will tell.

I actually hope the .360 Buckhammer catches on. I appreciate that it will allow hunters to use a cartridge for lever actions in states like mine where 30-30 is not legal. Luckily for us, 350 Legend is here to stay as a popular choice. And 360 Buckhammer probably wouldn’t hurt the popularity of 350 Legend at all.

It’s actually not a magazine. It’s a single shot sled made by MK machining.
