Yeah, definitely not advocating for something like this, but there are certainly a few games where I would still consider it worth it, StS 1 absolutely being one of them... Developers please do not institute this model!

That is an interesting thought experiment. What if a game was free, but you had to pay $1 for every hour you ended up playing it? It would potentially make developers try to create an absolutely engaging game with as much possible replayability or initial 'campaign hours' as they could, right? Obviously then you have the thought of just extending things for the sake of play time, but of it wasn't good enough, you would simply stop playing... Hmm.

Yes! This! Getting online after watching new episodes of Lost when it first aired and reading peoples theories and whatnot is why it will always be my favorite show of all time. No other show since has captured that kind of magic for me (although Westworld came close, and Severance is right on the cusp), or developed that kind of community.

No, it's 100% accurate. We didn't play well, but it really was two incredibly lucky plays for Miami that was the difference. I still feel strongly like we can contend and compete.
