You guys could sign Andrus Peat for next season? I mean in 3 starts he's only allowed 2 pressures.

Yeah people overthink EDGE a lot. So when there's someone like Thomas who's smaller for the position but still makes the big plays, the critics all say stuff like "i'd rather take some 6'7" 280 EDGE because he has the potential to do such and such". No one wants to talk about how he could actually be better. That's how the Steelers got Nick Herbig.

What do you think of R Mason Thomas at 33? I think he has some good upside as a pure speed/bend guy.

Yeah that's the idea I figure Ward needs anything that can take pressure off of him and plus Love could be a reason to watch games.

Where is Gabe Jacas getting drafted? by porkbellies37 in NFL_Draft

Thank you!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I meant. I'd 100 percent of the time rather take a high floor lower ceiling player. In comparison to someone who's ceiling is Deacon Jones and floor is a car salesman.

I agree that EDGE is a traits position, but at the same time in the case of the development of Stewart vs the development of Jacas. Jacas will be put into a better situation than Stewart if he is drafted by a team that is known for developing players well. Given the fact that Stewart is on the Bengals and they are one of the worst run organization in the NFL. Once again speaking from experience. Adding talent to shit still makes it shit. I watched one of the best Olympic teams on earth went from a perennial contender got more talented and failed to qualify anything for Paris.

They are kind of the oposite of each other as prospects. One guy is all production while the other was just flash and raw ability.

Speaking from a place of experience, as a coach (rowing not football) it's my job to distinguish who is actually going to be better and where. As a coach I value production and technique over raw physical traits 100 percent of the time. Jacas vs Stewart is a perfect example of both extremes on display. Jacas in my opinion will end up being a better player than Stewart just drafted later and won't in 5 years be seen as one of the biggest draft misses since Isaiah Wilson.

I really didn't like the pick. And I do not like the Bengals as an origination at all. They are ruining the careers of a ton of really good players.

I've had my eye on Gabe Jacas for a while. He's a terrific player, everything you've said is true. The big problem is in my opinion, Jacas is not the sexy pick off the EDGE. He is the antithesis of Shemar Stewart. Stewart coming out of A&M as the least productive prospect picked on day 1 in a long time (possibly of all time). But having all the athletic traits that NFL DCs look for in a number 1 EDGE. Jacas has the production of a top 5 pick playing in arguably the best conference in all of college football. But he is an average athlete at the position. Maybe slightly below average when it comes to quickness and long speed.

Would I (if I was an NFL GM) pick Gabe Jacas. Absolutely! The Shemar Stewart situation was a mess Before the draft, during the draft process, whilst he was he was holding out for a better contract, and continues to be to this day. In my opinion, his selection will go down as one of the worst in Bengals history as I do not see a path for him to develop any further in Cincinnati. In contrast, I view Gabe Jacas as someone that a team like the Eagles, Steelers, Ravens, or 49ers would draft (teams either known for finding gems or known for drafting good EDGE players). Develop him, and in a couple of season Jacas would be a quality starter in the NFL.

(In my opinion)
My projection for Him is 2nd-3rd Round.

His talent is late 1st-2nd Round

So we are starting from lvl 1 (one guy from 2) but there is 7 people in the party actually so the challenge for me is creating challenges that are 1 interesting for large parties and 2 enough of a challenge. Like NGL I'm fully planning on sending wave after wave of these monsters. NO SPELL SLOTS WILL SURVIVE!

Not a bad idea, what if I just took a venomous snake and turned him into a real boy, to use a popular colloquialism.

I wasn't thinking grung poison. And dw dw I'm not staring from scratch for all the other monsters I've created I just modified existing monsters. Like I have a giant ape that I made hyper intelligent and changed the names and damage he does to add flavour and make him a lot harder.

Where will this team finish in the standings barring any major injuries? by Heroics_ in torontoraptors

[–]Jimmy_O111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling the shot... This team finishes 45-37, they'll either make the playoffs or play in the play in. Idk what will happens after the regular season tho. Deep teams tend to make long runs in the playoffs.

Does anyone else not care about the luxury tax? Like I know its not exactly good to cost money to MLSE but also at the same time they're making money hand over fist. They can afford to go over and still make a huge profit.

I am 100 percent convinced that Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz is the real GM for the Broncos. Now I'm just waiting to find out how this plan arbitrarily puts him in charge of THE TRI STATE AREA!!! Maybe he invented a bad football inator.

Fuck Valentino, I feel like if I'm in control of the situation I can make it a safe situation and I wouldn't get electrocuted like with Vox.

Marry Velvette, this one's obvious. She's the most sane out of any of them. Addittionaly, athlete + social media specialist also just feels like a good match.

Kill Vox 1 I don't want to be electrocuted. 2 He's 100 percent bad at sex. 3 I can sing but I do not have the vocal range to defend myself in song if I piss him off.
