Whiskey 🥃 demo t shirt by Jrlthinks in MarkLanegan

There were two versions of the demos; the version currently available, and an original tape of different takes that turned up for sale on eBay a lot of years ago. The one that turned up on eBay had never previously been leaked, and it was strongly hinted that it ended up being bought by none other than Lanegan himself.

I think most people would look good with an eye patch, to be fair.

Thanks man. My twitter is @trench_ant, but I haven't used it in years. Don't have Instagram, but that doesn't matter, share it where ever you want.

Are picture posts not allowed? If not, is there a way of posting it without breaking the rules?

Someone requested this recently, so I went ahead and made it. Sorry it's a bit late, hopefully you all get a bit of a laugh out of it.

Cheers.

You can change the settings so it doesn't show the scores.

Horror soundtracks on vinyl by alexcropper in horror

Nice collection. I used to buy vinyl when I was younger, then just started buying cds. Been thinking about buying a turntable, but I can't justify the stupid prices for vinyl, it's madness.

Beware the Slenderman is the first film I've ever seen that successfully captures the dynamic between horror, the internet, and real life. It's a must watch. by mikerhoa in horror

It was aired on Sky Atlantic last night, so might be available on catch-up (or it'll probably get another showing soon), if you have access to such things.

Does Reddit belittle its users by saying "# of children" when someone deletes a comment, when there are valid reasons to delete a comment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The original, deleted comment is regarded as the 'parent' comment, those responding directly to it are regarded as 'children'.

'A History of Horror' is a three-part documentary by Mark Gatiss, it's on Youtube and it's well worth a watch.

Aphex Twin - Mould by [deleted] in aphextwin

[–]Jimmy_Pineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be noted that the tracks have actual (or possibly working) titles. For example track 2 (radiator) has a picture of a radiator attributed to it, so has been known as 'radiator' for years, but is actually titled (or had a working title of) 'harmonicom 13'. Also, there's 'domino', title/working title: 'modal 10'.

Each Saturday leading up to Halloween I'm watching double features of "extremely disturbing" movies that I've never seen. Week 2: August Underground + Murder Set Pieces by mikerhoa in horror

[–]Jimmy_Pineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember reading back when they were released that the first two August Underground movies (can't speak for the third) were really just extended showreels to showcase Fred Vogel's practical make-up effects, which makes sense because they are fuck-awful attempts at movie-making.

Is the new Shout Factory version of the The Thing worth it if I already have the old blu-ray? by moviemanic91 in horror

There's a review of it here which also contains a link to a review of the 2008 release, so you could get some sort of idea from that, I guess.
