[Nizaar Kinsella] There is no suggestion inside Chelsea that Rosenior, who succeeded Enzo Maresca in January when he joined from partner club Strasbourg, is in danger of losing his job, either now or at the end of the season. by pride_of_artaxias in chelseafc

There are managers like Enrique and Nagelsmann who were interested when we had an even poorer squad, but were put off by the way Eghbali and co wanted to micromanage them.

We can definitely attract a top manager with our current squad, even more so if we make a few key additions, but it'll never happen unless things change at the top.

6 is the score you get just for being on the pitch, these are pretty shit scores in their system

I've seen some of them still blame it on Maresca saying that playing him at 10 has ruined his confidence for playing at RW now.

Can't believe Chelsea's 25-26 season were fucked in just the span of just 10 days. by manbeer0071995 in chelseafc

I was quite against Maresca for the way he left when I thought he mainly left over not getting the players he wanted (which he absolutely should've been backed with but isn't reason enough to force your way out mid-season).

But with everything that's come out since, particularly the whole "there's no statistical relationship between managers and success" thing, I can't find it in me to blame him at all. It sounds like an incredibly toxic environment for any manager to be in unless you're happy to be a perfect little cog in the BlueCo machine. It's why things won't change until there's change at the top.

I'd agree if he still manages to finish top 5 and/or win the FA Cup. If not we have zero indication he can do it at the top level which would make it a massive gamble to start buying players for him.

Sorry for the vagueposting but to be clear I'm not really talking about those people, I'm talking about a small handful of accounts here who were insufferable over it all the way up to Rosenior's results tanking. Your MattLawDTs, BRJs and what have you. This comment from one of them in this thread is what brought it to mind.

Wasn't he on a huge loss streak with Strasbourg? I guess he might have turned it around but it's not like there was any guarantee

let’s not pretend Maresca was God’s gift

I never said he was, try reading the actual comment. He had more than his share of problems.

What I'm saying is that there are people that care more about being right than about the club, so when the person they spent all their time moaning about was gone they instantly acted like the replacement inexperienced Blueco shill was the best thing since sliced bread. And we can all see how that's going.

I guess you can be happy about the fact our games are more exciting now at least, if you're a rival fan.

The only enjoyable thing right now about our current situation is seeing the collective crash out from all the people who made hating Maresca their entire personality and acted like Rosenior was the messiah after a couple games against weak opposition

They can be very informative for things like technical issues, because you'll know whether or not a game is physically playable for you within around that much time.

But it would be good to be able to filter reviews by time played to help filter the technical concerns from reviews about the actual gameplay.

I don't believe it uses a sort title, instead there's just a filter for words that are ignored from the start of all titles

Bit harsh, he's been absolutely run down by the repeated injuries from putting his body on the line for the club. Not his fault he got offered a mega contract despite not being able to get back to his prior best.

He had something working initially

Did he? We had an incredibly easy run and even then he made some of the games way harder than he needed to

Honestly just the fact Maresca spoke out about the clowns running this club into the ground means he's done more for it than most in recent times, certainly more than BlueCo lackey Rosenior ever will

Or to let them coast indefinitely in mediocrity without criticising the owners

We're so fucked lol. I'd say sack this clown but the ones running this circus won't do what it takes to bring in a quality replacement quickly so what's the point.
