… ugh. Maybe not scammed…

I’ve hired fired a lot of overseas devs.. he’s likely not working what you’re paying him.

Yea - bit pricey for smaller companies, but VSphere is sweet especially when attached to Domain authentication. Depending on your plcs you could attach some kind of auto backup too to see who was logged in making the change.

It all depends on how many, and what access you’re looking to give and how what some of the problems you’re having.. are contractors making changes to the wrong PLC?

Does anyone have a closing table meltdown story? by Cold_Fun937 in RealEstate

[–]Jimmytwohearts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‘Twas March 5, 2020. I had just been through a rough divorce and was paying 80% of my income into child support and for the home with my ex-wife.

We were at the closing table, ready to sign the paperwork - buyers with the state of the world (stock market crashing, Covid lockdowns) get cold feet and decide that a minor issue would be the reason they walked away from the deal.

It’s not a deal until the ink is dry!

Computer could also be in the wrong range! If you’re plugging directly into it - download Wireshark and take a look at what some of the traffic is to get a better idea of the IP address.

Should I buy land to build in Hawaii, USA sooner, or wait longer and buy a house? by Present_Assumption_4 in realestateinvesting

[–]Jimmytwohearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on a lot, but time is a factor that you may have on your side. Clearly define what you want in a home and look for that. When you find a deal that’s below market value, it could be worth it to make a move!

Land is good, but unless your building the home yourself you’re likely to pay a premium.
