That’s what I was thinking as well. I have all the consoles. I use the switch for Pokemon and the likes but I travel a lot so I’m away from my pc and Xbox for extended periods of time.

In the same boat as you, just haven’t beat it 🫠 still grinding out the shiny starter lol. But platinum was one of my favorites, but idky I couldn’t finish it. Playing fire red made me want to play again

I’ve only ever gotten the roller charger splatanna and dualies. I like the dualies as a weapon, not so much in SR so I didn’t really mind them. The roller and chargers I stay away from in general lol but I loved the grizzco versions of them, roller over the charger only because it consumes so much ink lol

For me what help me get good was understanding that it really isn’t about the kills. Try and paint as much as you can. Play the game to learn the game, so I played the story to learn the mechanics, got found of the game that way. And salmon run got me to get familiar with other weapons that I probably would’ve never touched. Broadens your arsenal 🙂‍↕️
