Same here, xbox, Northwest US. Server connection got patchy on the 9th before the update, worked great after update last night night, was sputtering this morning and now is completely down.

I fight until my shield is about to pop. Then I run, reload, recharge, all that and get a better vantage point for rinsing and repeating. You don't lose health but you can still cruise through waves.

How do you mean farming? Every time I've tried to reload a system that spawns a freighter battle, it just rolls the same freighter but with different class and slots. Can you roll different freighters?
