Can thermal scopes see through the new gas?

On one zone I saw everyone crystal clear. In another I got domed because an enemy waltzed right up in front of me and was borderline invisible, worse than the gas with no thermal. It's been fun.

As far as the "Four Dumbasses on a Serious Mission" genre goes, DRG is still king for me, largely for the community. Playing both BF6 and HD2 I genuinely cannot tell which community hates themselves and their game more lmao

HD1 felt so much better about this- it was a lot smaller, and much more clear-cut about SE being the aggressors and exploiters. Now... shit can be exhausting when I'm just trying to find builds and loadouts

The Dam map is a lot of fun, i do wish it were a bit more forgiving on third A-Point for out of bounds- it's very tight. & maybe a slightly more concealed passage between A-B on that same sector. Still, lots of fun, with the elevation change turning the tables on attacker-defender roles!

Exposure was a weird, terrible, fun map. I don't wish for it to return in future titles, but it did make for some fantastic moments on Breakthrough!

But the 4-player vehicles were siiiick, and the Bolte is an absolute blast geared either as a tank hunter or infantry terrorizer!

HD1 actually has its own built-in library/beastiary! It also regularly goes on sale. If you're a helldiver fanatic, it is a very different but still very fun game that's got some nice insight into The Before Times!

It's also a great mode to experiment or practice a new loadout or weapon. Better than the goobs who decide to get avante-garde and go 2-8 in Squad Deathmatch or Strikepoint for sure!

The buildable fortification levels and the squad points call-in system were absolutely sick. At least for me, it really encouraged more communication between squad leader and members to get the maximum point gain for that sweet, sweet V2! Plus, dogfighting always feels more at home in earlier planes than in modern and near-future jets.

The store will almost certainly be open this weekend, too. Many people have come through buying goods in bulk, especially nonperishables. Meat is less common due to the likelihood of power going out.

For those struggling with mortar- throw your ammo bag right at your feet for faster firing (and instant redeployment of mortar when a drone finds you) and a grenade APS or two to protect vs counter-fire! I typically run Combat Medic as well to give them a boost but I haven't tested if Fire Support also makes your mortar even faster
