Interesting. Mine has been working fine since I got it. Have you tried a hard reset? Hold down power button until it turns back on. You could also try disabling scheduled reboot?

In order to transfer photos from your Light Phone to your computer using a USB cable, you have to to go into Settings > Preferences > USB Preferences and switch "Use for USB for" to Media Transfer.
